Since the wedding site is so difficult to find, I decided to insert some maps also with the invitations.

Finally done with my wedding invitations and sent them out yesterday. It’s funny how we find time for work but not enough time for ourselves.

My mother sent me a wedding purse, but the color didn’t quite match my wedding dress. I also thought the handles looked cheap, so I did a complete makeover by rearranging the flowers, dying the satin purse with tea, and changing the handles.

Usually around this time of the year, they would have picnics under Cherry Blossom Trees in Japan. It might be nice to do something similar at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden this year.

Deciding on a wedding cake is the hardest part, if you are doing a destination wedding. We didn’t have time to fly up to Napa, so I decided to use the power of the internet to find the perfect wedding cake. I contacted many vendors and I found sweetiepies was the most considerate cake vendor. Just wanted a simple and elegant wedding cake like my designs, so I asked for a square white cake with pearl borders and topped with flowers. I’m really looking forward to see the cake.
